They have done very little to quell his curiosity and stubborn streak, however. Still just as energetic and warmhearted as ever, though perhaps his newfound lack of grump helps to emphasize these qualities. Striking out on a new, unexpected path in life, he finds himself embracing the background he initially wished to break free from.

He received his cape after successfully completing his Dragontamer training, after he had accidentally blurted out to Lance that that was one of his goals (much to his embarrassment.)

Bio: Mei was bred from Blake's mother's prized Kingdra, Kala, since Blake was lacking in appropriate Pokemon for his new position as gym trainer. She's a haughty little thing, living up to the meaning of her name; 'obstinacy, rebelliousness'.

Bio: The offspring of his father's Garchomp, Enki, and Dragonair, Otohime, Longwei certainly has the attitude to suit the nobility he believes himself to be. While he presents a cocky, aloof air upon first appearances, he's actually very sweet, helpful, and even seems a little insecure and bashful. Perhaps having famous parents, even Pokemon ones, just does that to you.

Bio: Blake's trusty first Pokemon, she wasn't about to be left behind for this chapter of their adventure. Although he has to frequently remind her to tone down her attacks, as she's a bit too powerful for most of the trainers that come through the gym, she's a welcome addition in that at least one of his gym Pokemon likes and actually listens to him.

Bio: She was presented to Blake as a final challenge in his training to become a Dragontamer. Each trainer was presented with a mystery egg, each guaranteed to be a dragon-type of some sort. Blake was very anxious the whole time waiting for the egg to hatch, since he had no idea what might be inside. Raising her proved to be a struggle most of the time, and Bagon tried to present herself as a sort of rival to Totodile, often bullying and headbutting him. Blake broke it up the first couple times, but then reminded Totodile he was allowed to fight back. After that, Bagon often found her head trapped in Totodile's steel trap-like jaws.
